This website is designed to educate and inform elementary school teachers about the reality of bullying in schools today. Through knowledge comes power. And through power comes change. Therefore, by understanding the causes of bullying, the effects on victims, the newest forms of bullying and prevention methods which have previously worked, my hope is that change can begin to take place.

By starting with teachers and educating them about childhood aggression, they can hold the power to bring their newfound knowledge into their classrooms and begin to inform their students about this serious problem. By means of this website and the children's book Betty Ann and Jeffrey: Bully Trouble by Erica Dawson, teachers can introduce the important discussion of bullying and childhood aggression to their students and use their new knowledge to help stop and prevent bullying, one student at a time.
